Champions League play

Arsenal have a higher wage bill than Bayern. Fact.

It's pretty embarrassing that Arsenal fans continue to think they are some kind of financial underdogs.

Nobody needs to agree with me. I've seen Bayern over last 20 years all the time and this is the best team they ever had and plays the best in that time but CL is not just handed on a plate. Mourinho spent billions and has 2 CL titles won with 2 clubs who were worse then the other two he coached.

Same here. How Pep performed as a coach is simply stellar. There's no other conclusion to draw from watching us play regularly.
We've never played so well before.

With the one important caveat that we didn't get better but worse in crunchtime (spring), which is a serious problem.

And what does this tell us? That the usual clubs that are known for big spending are truly big spenders? The only reason Bayern aren't in the top 5 of this table is because of the type of league they compete in. If they were in the La Liga or the premiership, they would have spent far more than they have at the moment. If they decide to splash out 30million on a player, who's going to hijack that deal in Germany?

Wolfsburg, Dortmund and from next season Leipzieg.

Yes. I see those clubs competing with Bayern for players. You need to get real, man.

Thats why Weigl, Reus and Ginter for example are playing for Bayern as they wanted them all, right?.

They payed 30m € and more for "only" 4 players in their history so your theory doesn't hold much water either, Caritas_05

And only one of those was within Bundesliga and even that only because Gotze had a clause of 37,5m €.
