One of the gentlemen of the game, passes away at 61 years of age.

JUST heard the sad news myself too

only last week I listened to him for at least 2 hours with Alan Brazil on TalkSPORT & he was on top form with his old mucker having a great time

not only a gentleman but what a player & one of the few Englishmen to do well playing in Europe in those days too

fucking hell Tel just goes to show when your time's up it's goodbye & God bless

Such a shame. The booze obviously took its toll in the end. RIP Ray, marvellous player and massively underrated.
If you didn't see it with your own eyes, and hear it with your own ears. Don't invent it with your small mind or share it with your big gob!
