I just heard Rio Ferdinand is going to become a professional boxer!!

surely people will be lining up to knock him out...
John Terry should get his pro license too & give us all what we want to see

Arsenal won't do even thursdays soon. What is this club doing? They are not competitive and will let 3 players walk for nothing next year when they could sell them and start some kind of rebuild. The other question is how in the world did they allowed themselfs to be in a position that their 2 best players have only 1 left on their deal and they can't resign them and even worse they won't sell them.

Deportivo 0 Real Madrid 3

Great victory against a very decent team. The result could have been much tighter.

another new season starts tomorrow at home to Leicester then

I'll be watching this one but unfortunately it looks like another game for the B team with all the injuries

Kolasinac should play again & hopefully start this time.
AOC is interesting as it appears Chelsea have bid for him.
Lacazette will make his debut presumably in the starting XI which will be the first chance I'll get to see of him

let's hope they carry on where they finished off last season when in particular the defence was solid & Holding did very well

as for Leicester who knows but they've got dangerous players so should always be a threat

...again YAWN

is anybody going to watch this shyte ?

I won't be bothering for 2 reasons...
it's my birthday tomorrow & the ludicrous 2pm kickoff

I'm definitely interested to see who plays though mainly for fantasy reasons & especially Sanchez

there was a time when I couldn't get enough of this match-up but 3 games last season & twice already in this pre-season, is starting to make this fixture boring

as for a prediction - who gives a toss

the cherries first home game of the new campaign is against Watford on saturday August 19 & yesterday I managed to get a ticket for it

I'll be interested to see if the acquisition of Ake changes the defensive formation or Eddie sticks with the 4-4-2 he used when Ake played last season

I think they're ideally set up to play a 3 man backline of Ake on the left, my new bff Cook in the middle & Francis on the right...
with Daniels bombing down the left flank & Smith down the right

Wilshere lost his place in midfield late last season which proves they're strong there with the likes of Lewis Cook, Fraser & Pugh improving dramatically as the season progressed

King & Defoe should both be good to go up front too with Stanislas also pushing hard for a starting place

can't wait to see how they'll be set up

it feels like a slow market so far or maybe I'm being impatient as almost all the big clubs have already made significant signings

Arsenal have Lacazette.
Chelsea Bakayoko or at least imminent.
United with Lukaku & Lindelof.
City now with Walker after Silva earlier.
Bournemouth & Everton too have made some great signings

Liverpool & Tottenham haven't done anything yet

because of the inflated fees paid so far & the FACT it's only mid July...
it seems inevitable another record amount will be spent this window

the crazy season is upon us

surely anyone with a pulse must've been touched by this lovely lad

what a shame he's passed away but he's an inspiration to anyone who likes the game & always had a smile on his face

football mascots don't come any better than Bradley Lowery

RIP little fella
